At Dargaville Baptist Community Church, our doors are open to everyone who is seeking the truth and Jesus Christ is THE TRUTH. We are a church made up of people, who come from a wide variety of ages, cultures and backgrounds. However, we stand united in our love for Jesus, his sacrifice on the cross and his resurrection. We are a people of the Word, Prayer and Worship. We are passionate about finding our life's purpose in joining Jesus Christ in His mission and all that He is doing in the world around us.

It is a privilege to serve in this church along with my wife Sarah, and are blessed with two adult children, one of them is married. I grew up in India, worked in the corporate sector for many years. While Sarah and I were involved in various Christian ministries and village evangelism, I heard God’s call and moved to New Zealand in 2002 along with my family. After taking a few years to settle in NZ, I studied at Carey Baptist College and since then been in pastoral ministry.

I am passionate to open the Word of God, so we can together hear God’s voice in our midst. There is nothing more rewarding then to spend time with people, and journey along their side; but in my spare time, I like to try cooking new recipes and seriously love good coffee.
