At Dargaville Baptist Community Church, our doors are open to everyone who is seeking the truth and Jesus Christ is the truth. We are a church who come from a wide variety of ages, cultures and backgrounds. However, we stand united in our love for Jesus, and what he has done for us. We are a people of Word, Prayer and Worship. We are passionate about finding our life's purpose in joining Jesus Christ in His mission and all that He is doing in the world around us.

Edmonds Namburi joined the team at DBCC in 2019. He is married to Sarah, they have two adult children, and one of them is married. He grew up in India, worked in the corporate sector for many years. He was involved in various Christian ministries and village evangelism. The family moved to New Zealand in 2002 and as Edmonds obeyed God’s call, he graduated from Carey Baptist College to go into full-time ministry.    

Edmonds is passionate to open the scriptures so we can hear God’s voice in our midst. He loves people, cooking and seriously good coffee.
